Jim Jawahar received his Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from Oklahoma State University. His research has been published in some of the top-tier journals in his field, such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Jim served as department chair and associate provost at Illinois State University. Currently, Jim is serving as Professor and Chair of the department of Management at the University of New Mexico. Professor Jawahar served as editor of Career Development International for nearly 15 years and has consulted with major corporations. Jim is an accomplished researcher, proven academic leader, accomplished consultant, and an engaging speaker.
